Oktoberfests, Dia de los Muertos, Pumpkins, Fall Fests…
…and Corgis?
Welcome back, Festival Fans.
I have finally “completed” the California Festival Guide with nearly 3,000 annual festivals.
I say “completed” because these guides are never really completed. The version I came up with definitely does not have all of California’s festivals, but it may be the most comprehensive guide out there.
Over time, as more people find the guide, I’m hoping they will make sure all their favorites are listed and let me know the ones that aren’t. That way, I’ll continue to make the guide even better over time as I add more and more festivals.
Therefore, please share the guide with others, if you can.
This weekend in California, while the Harvest and Fall Festivals continue, there is a decent amount of Pumpkin Festivals, in such cities as Canyon Lake, Pomona, and Laguna Hills, a great number of Street Fairs and Night Markets, and all sorts of Harvest and Fall Festivals.
For Halloween Festivals, in particular, look to cities like San Bernadino, Lake Elsinore, Anaheim and San Francisco.
Then there are the Day of the Dead/Dia de los Muertos Celebrations in Los Angeles, Healdsburg, Oceanside, Los Altos and many other cities.
There will be more of these Celebrations next weekend since All Souls Day is November 2.
Finally, if you are near Huntington Beach and love Corgis, this Saturday celebrates Fall Corgi Beach Day, where THOUSANDS of Corgis come together for the world’s largest Corgi Festival.
There is even a competion for Best Corgi Butt!
