Chocolate, Eagles and the Lunar New Year.
Welcome back, Festival Fans.
This most recent winter weather is finally starting to lighten up (it’s currently -8 degrees outside as I write this but will be a warmer 15 degrees later this afternoon).
So I guess we can look at what festivals are going on.
BUT FIRST, depending on where you are and how you got hit by cold temperatures, snow and ice, please double check weekend events before attending as there could be sudden cancellations or delays.
This weekend, three frequent festival themes – apart from all the Winter/Ice/Snow Festivals you’re likely to expect – are Eagles, the Lunar New Year and Chocolate.
A lot of Chocolate Festivals, actually.
Chocolate, sometimes mixed with Whiskey or Wine, will likely be a theme we continue to see for the next few weeks. Lunar New Year or Chinese New Year Celebrations may be popping up for the next few weeks as well.
Other popular festival themes this weekend include Gumbo, the Renaissance, Beer and Pow Wows.
Just depends where you are.
