38.) Lincoln Park Days Festival Review – Lincoln Park, Michigan – August 24, 2018

I headed to the Lincoln Park Community Center…

…for a festival called Lincoln Park Days.

From the street, all you could see was a huge carnival area…

…complete with fair food…

…games…

…and plenty of rides.

Beyond the carnival area, the festival offered a more local flavor…

…with hot food served by the Lincoln Park Exchange Club and St. Michael’s

…rolled ice cream by Street Kings

…and various offerings from non-profit athletic clubs (Skate Company Skating Club/Downriver Wrestling)…

…area businesses (Smile Clinic of Allen Park)…

…and regional vendors, who sold vintage aprons, jewelry and accessories…

…framed photographs…

…and an impressive assortment…

…of blades!

Deeper into the festival…

…adults were able to take refuge in the beer tent…

…which gave access to an entertainment stage.

And while kids could definitely spend a whole day in the carnival area…

…they could also enjoy some face painting…

…henna…

…plenty of bicycle stunts (Al Petri and Sons)…

…and a delightful petting zoo (Wild World Zoo)…

…that even had a joey.
