Upcoming Northern Festival Weekend: April 2-6, 2026

Easter Fests, Cultural Fests and Dyngus Day.

Welcome back, Festival Fans.

It’s Easter Weekend and the festivals are slim pickings in some states where I felt fortunate enough to find one or two.

There’s a little more possibility in states like Illinois, Indiana and Missouri where there’s a handful of fests in each state.

For the most part, in terms of themes, you will find Spring Festivals, Easter-related fests, and even Cultural Festivals like a Holi Fest in Illinois and a Powwow in Indiana.

There’s even Dyngus Day, a popular Polish festival celebrated in a few US cities (Buffalo, NY, Cleveland, OH and South Bend, IN) where you can enjoy plenty of Pierogi, Kielbasa, Polish Beer and Polka while utilizing squirt guns, pussy willow branches…

…and even some fake beards.
