Festival Overview
Owl Fest is a smaller family-friendly festival at the Ornithology Center in Eagle Creek Park (admission required to enter the park) with a focus on education and fun.
Inside the center, visitors could explore the beautiful display of animals…
…visit the auction room…
…where there were plenty of owl things to bid on…
…and learn from various presentations that included Owl Myths and Legends.
Along the pathway in front of the center…
…there were games that included Plinko and Quidditch…
…a table for crafts and the chance for a scavenger hunt…
…various bird organizations offering education and treats…
…assorted merchandise that included apparel and jewelry…
…and a handful of snacks that included popcorn and smores…
…the latter of which could be prepared at a nearby fire (not yet lit).
Of course, no one came to the festival without stopping at the Carlsen Aviary…
…as the residents inside…
…were a real hoot.
