Versailles Twilight Festival – Versailles, Kentucky – My Experience

This post documents my experience on September 24, 2022.

When I arrived at the Versailles Twilight Festival

…it was actually twilight.

Many of the kids at this time were getting their fill of mini donuts (Bee’z Street Eats)…

…using the extra energy to run through the Fire Safety House (Versailles Fire Dept)…

…get up close to the petting zoo critters…

…or try to take over the paving machinery (ADC Paving).

Meanwhile, other festival goers were either still nabbing some dinner from one of the multiple taco trucks (Taco Tocotin/Darly Tenampa Taqueria)…

…finishing their meal with a sweet treat (Kristen’s Kreations)…

…or doing some evening shopping among vendors, who sold women’s apparel…

…hand poured soy candles (Modern Zen)…

…hand crafted products made from bourbon barrels (Kentucky Wood)…

…handmade Christmas bulbs, fun stickers galore (Stickerlilli)…

…and a nice selection of jewelry (The Crow’s Court).

Other booths lined along the street offered Yi Jing (I Ching) readings…

…doula, massage and Reiki services (Phases)…

…support possibilities for the local Girl Scouts and Pink Sisters

…a friendly chat with a circuit judge (Gabhart)…

…free water from a local church (King’s Way)…

…and many possibilities for an adult beverage, whether as a cocktail (Rose Hill Spirits)…

…a cold beer (Tapped Fire Truck/Versailles Brewing Company)…

…a sangria slushee (Wildside Winery)…

…or even a Jello shot (American Legion Post 67)…

…all which could be carried over to the Beer and Bourbon Garden…

…and enjoyed during the evening entertainment (The Kentucky Gentlemen).
