Upcoming Western Festival Weekend: February 12-17, 2026

Valentine’s Day, the Lunar New Year and Mardi Gras!

Welcome back, Festival Fans!

Many celebrations to pack in this weekend.

While glancing through the festival lists below, I’m seeing a good share of Lunar New Year Celebrations, each of which usually consists of delicious food, interesting vendors and fun entertainment.

It’s also Valentine’s Day on Saturday. So, if you haven’t made a dinner reservation yet, you could always head to a festival for some music, drinks, food and fun. You might even catch a Chocolate Festival.

And since Mardi Gras is Tuesday, I extended the dates of this weekly post to include those events as well.

Not every state has Mardi Gras Festivals on Tuesday, but Kansas is celebrating International Pancake Day on that day. Might be a decent substitute for a beignet or a paczki.

Be sure to check the map to see if there are festivals going on around you (maybe even in neighboring states) and feel free to check the 2026 Festival Guide for events coming later in the year.

I am currently going through May’s events a second time. Once I’m done going through those, I’ll look at October.
