This post documents my experience on August 17, 2019.
At the Sumner Daze Festival in Sumner, Michigan…
…all sorts of activities were going on in and around the community center.
Within the community center, there were rooms set for crafts…
…and a bake sale with plenty of sweet treats…
…perfect after a burger from the Ithaca Lions Club.
Meanwhile, around the center, people were gathered at the playground…
…for the tractor pull…
…while others came to the ring…
…for some good old-fashioned wrestling.
But there was also a Timber Show…
…a carnival area…
…with food trailers…
…games…
…inflatables…
…and rides…
…which were absolutely FREE…
…and a vendor area…
…with a selection of sunglasses…
…sauces, dips, asparagus guacamole (MaMa C’s)…
…all sorts of craft items…
…and even a jewelry booth…
…with cremation lockets.
But let’s get back to the wrestling…
…because that was truly incredible!
