Upcoming Festival Weekend: August 10-13, 2023

Eat your way through tons of food and cultural festivals – plus a few unique festivals to enjoy this weekend.

August continues as states like Wisconsin, Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, and Pennsylvania are just overflowing with festivals this weekend.

While looking through all the choices out there, I couldn’t help but notice all the Food Festivals.

There are many festivals this weekend that celebrate local crops in season (depending on the state). Some festivals of this type includes Corn Festivals, Peach Festivals, Blueberry Festivals, Mint Festivals, Tomato Festivals, Watermelon Festivals, and Sunflower Festivals.

But then there are festivals that focus on particular dishes themselves, such as Cheese Curds, Kielbasa, Chicken (and Beer), Tacos, Mac and Cheese, Cheeseburgers, Seafood, and Lobster.

And, if you’re looking for a particular flavor of ethnic food, you can find festivals with a Cultural Theme, including Caribbean, Brazilian, Indian, Italian, Dutch, German, Swedish, African, Scottish, Irish, Asian, Lithuanian, and Lebanese. There are some International Festivals this weekend as well.

There’s simply a lot of good eating out there, festival fans, so comb through the lists and find something delicious.

Also this weekend, there are plenty of Art Festivals, Music Festivals, Church Festivals and more.
