Upcoming Festival Weekend: January 6-9, 2022

A new year with a new website!

Welcome to the first official post of Festival Guides and Reviews.

If you were a visitor of OhioFestivals.net who searched for festivals in Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, New York, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, West Virginia or Wisconsin: you are in the right place. I’ve moved all your comprehensive festival guides and reviews here so that you can better plan your weekends. I realized that searching for festivals in Wisconsin at a website named after Ohio Festivals was a little counterintuitive so I’ve created this space for you here.

I hope you enjoy the website!

If this is your first time at Festival Guides and Reviews and you are not familiar with OhioFestivals.net: a super welcome to you! Please look around the website and search through the state Festival Guides, where you will find hundreds of listings that are broken out week by week. At the top of each guide, there is a video that better explains how to use the Festival Guide and gives helpful tips. On this website, you will also find some posts about my experiences at some festivals with plenty of pics and some videos.

At Festival Guides and Reviews, I will let you know what festivals are coming up in a weekly Upcoming Weekend Post that will be published on Wednesdays (this is that post). If you want to be notified about new postings via email, please visit the subscription page at festivalguidesandreviews.com/subscribe/

SPECIAL NOTE: I hope to soon add the states of Alabama, North Carolina and South Carolina to the list of states covered at Festival Guides and Reviews. Why not, right? I’m hoping to have some great festival guides for you by the end of the month.

This Weekend’s Festivals: it’s a slow start, but things should pick up in a week or two, especially in the South.

For many states, we have the final weekend of Holiday Light Festivals going on. So if you missed out on Christmas due to illness (our house was stuck inside with Covid), you have a final chance to get out there and take in Christmas lights and holiday cheer.

There are some states with non-holiday festivals going on. Illinois and New York have Winterfests, Indiana has a Festival of Ice, Georgia has Frontier Festival, and Florida has festivals celebrating Seafood, Jazz, Bluegrass, and everything Celtic.

Below, you will find a listing of each state’s festivals as well as a map of festival cities. The map is super helpful to see what’s going on around you, especially if it’s in a neighboring state or in a nearby city you didn’t even know existed.

Feel free to write to me and let me know how you like the new website.

A Happy 2022 to you all! I look forward to a year filled with great festivals!

As always…

Love, Peace and Festival Grease!
