Starting the Year with New Festival Guides
Happy 2023, Festival Fans! I hope your holidays were wonderful and that you’re now ready for a new year filled with festivals.
Over the holidays, I decided to use my down time to put together some new festival guides for states that I’ve received votes for over the years. When you scroll down, you’ll notice the states of Delaware, Maryland (along with Washington, DC), Mississippi and Virginia added among the covered states.
While I haven’t officially started, I have decided to add the eastern half of Pennsylvania as well. Hopefully, that will be complete within the next week or two.
So, if you know anyone in the above-mentioned states, please let them know about the new Festival Guides – maybe share the guides with them or share the guides in social media groups or on pages where it would make sense to do so (ie Virginia Events Page).
When more people learn about the Guides, then they make sure that their festivals are listed and let me know if they’re not so that I can add them. It’s what helps my guides become so comprehensive.

Concerning this weekend of festivals, it’s a slow start in most states with many Holiday Light Festivals still continuing for a final week or so.
But there are some states, like Florida, where you can take in a Celtic Festival, some Seafood Festivals, the first weekend of a Renaissance Festival and some Cultural Festivals.
There’s also a Fire and Ice Festival in Indiana, a Frontier Festival in Georgia, a Ski Fest in Michigan, and at least three Winter Festivals in Illinois.
There will definitely be more next weekend so stay tuned!
