More festivals coming out as we push into 2023.
Hopefully, all of you are adjusting to 2023. Things sort of feel the same from a few weeks ago but there are new hopes and wishes for the year ahead. Maybe there are even some new festivals you would like to check out this year.
This weekend’s festival outlook is great if you live in Florida as the state is offering all sorts of festivals: Oyster, Burger, Mushroom, Seafood. There are both Medieval and Renaissance Festivals with a dash of Highland Games to add some spice. There’s even a Manatee Festival.
If you don’t live in Florida, that’s okay because Virginia has a Fly Fishing and Wine Festival, Illinois has a Bourbon and Barbeque Fest, and both Alabama and Tennessee have a Crane Festival. Other states, like Michigan, New York, Maryland, and Pennsylvania have Winter Festivals in one form or another.
Check your state below to see what’s going on and also look to the map below, as there could be something near you in a neighboring state.

Before I go, I want to update you on my progress with the Pennsylvania Festival Guide. As you may remember from last week, I’ve been adding Central and Eastern Pennsylvania Festivals to the guide and I’m getting close to being done (if one is ever really done adding festivals to the guides). So far, I’ve added about 700 festivals to the Pennsylvania Festival Guide and I wouldn’t be surprised if there were a few hundred more.
Once I am done, I will update the Pennsylvania Festival total on the main page and I’ll let you know in one of these posts.
I am having a fun time searching through all these new festivals and there are many I would love to check out (especially a Whoopie Pie Festival – yum!).
