Pirates, Chili, Chocolate and Beer – plus an update on the 2023 Festival Guides
Things are slowly starting to pick up in all of the states. Almost all of them have some sort of festival going on, whether a Lunar New Year Celebration, a Winter Beerfest, a Chili Cookoff or some variation of Winterfest.
Florida is, once again, the big state this weekend with a Pirate Festival, a Pow Wow, both Medieval and Renaissance Festivals, Seafood Festivals, Wine and Beer Festivals and more festivals celebrating Tacos, Kumquats and Manatees, but, if you look closer, you’ll see that states like Michigan, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Virginia and Wisconsin actually have a decent amount going on as well.
These states are hosting plenty of Winter and Ice Festivals, along with Chocolate Festivals, Wine Festivals, Beer Festivals, Bluegrass Festivals, Oyster Festivals, Folk Festivals and more.
Just be sure to look at the map to see in what cities these festivals are taking place.

Concerning all Festival Guides, I’m still updating all the listings for all of the states. I am almost done going through the month of June and I’ll continue on with July right after.
You may already know that I also have festival guides for some city areas as well. As I confirm festivals on the state guide, I copy them over to the appropriate city area guide. Check out some city guides, such as Tampa, Atlanta, Chicago, Detroit, Rochester-Syracuse, Pittsburgh, Nashvillle, Milwaukee – and see how the festivals are being added to these guides for 2023.
On the state festival guide, if you notice a festival from January through June with an asterisk next to it, it means I still do not have the 2023 information. If you happen to be involved with the festival, know the date or have more info, please write to me and let know. Otherwise, it will be another two months or so before I again check for an update about that festival.
