Everything from Snake Rodeos to Hippie Festivals this weekend.
With only our toes dipped into the Spring Season, I’m happy to see so many festivals going on. Every state has at least one event going on with the big states being Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee.
What also makes this weekend great is the variety out there. Alabama, for example, has a Snake Rodeo and a Sausage Fest while Georgia has a Peanut Festival and a Fire Ant Festival. There’s a Hippie Festival going on in Michigan, Viking and Donut Festivals in North Carolina, an Elvis Festival in Tennessee and a Bloody Mary Festival in Wisconsin.
Just a little bit of everything!
And events should really be picking up for northern states in just a few weeks. By mid-April to early May, those states should be really entering their festival season.
WEBSITE UPDATE: I have just finished going though the festival listings for May and June, updating links and dates galore. I’ll take another look into July and August listings at the beginning of April but, if you know of 2022 festival dates for a festival that is not listed correctly on a Festival Guide, please let me know and I will correct it.
