Over 200 Festivals this Earth Day Weekend.
Good morning, Festival Fans! We have finally reached a point where the southern states are still going strong in festival numbers as the festival numbers in the northern states start to grow and grow. As we get into May, the northern states will offer a lot more festival options and the Festival City Map below is really going to be popping with pins.
This weekend, it’s all about our planet with plenty of Earth Day Festivals going on throughout the states. There are also many Dogwood Festivals, Spring Festivals, Bluegrass Festivals and interesting Food Festivals celebrating Vidalia Onions (Georgia), Pretzels (Illinois), Pickles (North Carolina), Cornbread (Tennessee), Ramps (West Virginia) and Grilled Cheese (Wisconsin).
And there are a few other festivals I should really mention this weekend, such as a festival about Colonel Sanders in Kentucky, a Hillbilly Festival in Kentucky, the World’s Biggest Fish Fry in Tennessee, a Ragtime Festival in Michigan, and plenty of Blueberry Festivals in Florida.
