Mardi Gras Weekend filled with interesting festivals!
If you haven’t already been indulging on paczki and king cakes, you’re running out of time as Fat Tuesday will be this Tuesday, March 1. Some states are offering Mardi Gras festivals this weekend, including Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina.
Big festival states this weekend are Florida, Michigan, South Carolina and Wisconsin. As before, the northern states are focusing on Winter Festivals (Michigan has a Nordic Fire Festival worth checking out) while the southern states are all about seafood, strawberries and so much more (especially in Florida).
I should mention that Florida really has an impressive amount of cultural festivals this weekend: Italian, many Greek, Native American, Spanish, Mexican, Caribbean, Scottish, Jewish and International. Check out the list below!
