Greens and being Green this weekend, festival fans!
This weekend, get your greens in more ways than one. In the state of Alabama, there’s a Collard Green Festival in the city of Evergreen while Irish/Celtic celebrations are going on in Illinois, South Carolina, Tennessee, West Virginia and Wisconsin. We will continue to see Irish festivals as we approach St. Patrick’s Day (hopefully, our Catholic readers didn’t give up beer or corned beef for Lent).
Other festivals this weekend include many BBQ festivals, Maple Syrup Festivals, Beer/Wine/Bourbon Festivals and even a Chuck Wagon Cookoff in Tennessee. A bit of variety for everyone.
The big state this weekend is, of course, Florida, with Strawberry Festivals galore, a Garlic Fest, some Greek Festivals, and various Food festivals.
